Last Thursday, ACC Aviation’s employees collected much-needed donations for Stripey Stork, a local charity, to help families and children in need.
Established in 2013 by a group of mums, Stripey Stork is a local charity based in Reigate supporting families that experience hardship across Surrey and the surrounding area.
ACC Aviation employees have gathered pre-loved clothes, toys and other essential items to support the charity in helping families in need. Our team met with the donations coordinator last week to hand over the items.
ACC Aviation engaged with Stripey Stork last year when a group of employees spent a day at the charity’s warehouse organising, cleaning, and checking the donations to meet current UK safety standards and help to rehome them with local families in need.
“We are delighted to work with Stripey Stork and support their cause which is very current as we all are experiencing increased household bills, and many are finding it hard to manage through these difficult times. This is the second project we worked on with the charity, and we are committed to continuing to support Stripey Stork with donations, volunteering and participating in campaigns to help families and children in need,” said Sara Hay-Jahans, Head of HR at ACC Aviation.
