ACC Aviation, the global aviation services group, has successfully transacted a Boeing B737-300 (ZS-TGB) from South Africa’s Star Air Cargo to a Middle East-based investor.

Drawing on its long-standing, established relationships with airline clients, ACC Aviation’s asset management division was able to source the off-market 1998-built B737-300 Classic (MSN29327) most recently operated by the established Johannesburg-based passenger and cargo charter carrier.

ACC provided contract advisory on all transaction-related documentation, ensuring industry standards were adhered to and that the transaction was fair for all parties.

The Middle East investor also engaged with ACC’s Technical Services division to carry out all relevant pre-purchase inspections, undertake a technical records review, and perform a technical acceptance inspection. ACC also procured a ferry service to an MRO facility in Tashkent, where the aircraft will undergo minor maintenance and repair work.

“Being able to offer these turn-key solutions to all parties is pivotal to our service offering, ensuring sellers are able to extract the maximum value from the transaction and, in parallel, ensuring buyers acquire an aircraft which meets their requirements,” commented Tristan Brouard, Manager Asset Management, ACC Aviation.

“Furthermore, having a reputable relationship with our inspectors in these regions ensures that independent inspections are carried out, and the client has a clear understanding of the aircraft they wish to acquire,” noted Julian Aldana, ACC Aviation’s Vice President of Technical Services.

ACC Aviation is a steadfast partner that industry colleagues and clients have come to rely on. Its global team, present on five continents, offers professional, impartial advice and expertise across a wide and comprehensive range of aviation services.
