ACC Aviation performs pre-delivery physical inspection for Avion Express Malta
Post Written by: Julian Aldana, Vice President Technical Services
ACC Aviation completed a physical inspection of an Airbus A320ceo, supporting Avion Express Malta to expand its fleet ahead of the upcoming European summer season.
Avion Express Malta appointed ACC Aviation to perform a pre-delivery physical inspection of an Airbus A320ceo, based in Malaysia. Over nine days, ACC Aviation’s technical services team arranged and delivered a complete physical inspection, including witnessing the test flight, engine borescope inspections, engine run-ups, and landing gear swing. Furthermore, ACC Aviation’s technical services team supported Avion Express Malta in closing the Open Items List, ensuring the aircraft was delivered in accordance with the contractual delivery conditions of the lease agreement.
“We always advise our airline clients to take a proactive and comprehensive approach towards technical inspection and acceptance of aircraft on lease. By investing time in delivery of the aircraft, airlines are better able to avoid or reduce unnecessary maintenance expenditures after delivery – and to mitigate issues that may re-appear, at the airline’s expense, when it comes time to return the aircraft to the lessor,” says Julian Aldana, the ACC Aviation’s Vice President – Technical Services.
“We are delighted with our appointment by Avion Express Malta for this inspection project, and to have played part in their fleet expansion. As the industry continues to recover, we look forward to supporting our industry colleagues, leveraging our multi-disciplinary expertise and insight across aviation technical services, asset management and financial advisory.” Julian added.
Upon the inspection delivery, Artūras Vegys, Vice President Fleet, Avion Express Malta said: “We are grateful for ACC support provided in Malaysia. Speedy reaction to our request, great communication and coordination of all the to-do tasks has helped to move forward with the delivery of the aircraft in a timely manner.”
