On Saturday, October 21, our colleagues from our air charter division in the United States took part in the MIA Runway 5K 2023 at the Miami International Airport.
The MIA Runway 5K 2023 series invites volunteers to take part in a runway race benefiting the American Cancer Society’s campaign against breast cancer. The series kicked off in March at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, followed by Miami Executive Airport in April. The final race took place at the Miami International Airport last Saturday.
The venues combined have historically hosted over 5,000 participants. This year, ACC Aviation sponsored the event, and five members of our charter team in Fort Lauderdale – Christian McBride, Zachary Ondriezek, Mike Jennings, Carla Manechini and New York – Jamie Harris, joined the race.
Jamie Harris, the President of our American charter division said: “It was our pleasure to support this year’s MIA Runway 5K series. Many of us have been affected by cancer in some way or know someone who has been, and we are excited to be part of an event that promotes the efforts to better cure the illness and raises awareness. The team enjoyed being here very much, the event was perfectly organized and we look forward to the next one.”
