Customer: Mexican national football team delegation
Reason for charter: Travel to World Cup match
Aircraft: B787
On the 17th June 2018, Mexico were set to face Germany in their first World Cup match – but a number of football delegates and supporters were let down by another broker at the last minute.
ACC came to the rescue. Within 24 hours, we were able to capitalise on our unique operator relationships to mobilise a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner, ready to fly the stranded supporters from Mexico’s Toluca airport to Russia’s Luzhniki Stadium.
Thanks to ACC’s dedicated Charter team, the group of delegates and supporters were there to witness one of the greatest games in Mexico’s football history, as they beat Germany 1-0.
