Liverpool Football Club had beaten the likes of Manchester City, Barcelona and Juventus – securing their place in the Champions League Final. On the 26th May 2018, the team would face Real Madrid in Kiev.
Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport was set to have a logistical challenge on its hands.
ACC chartered a number of commercial and private aircraft (including a brand new Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner from Ethiopian Airlines and an A340 from South African Airways), to transport thousands of Reds fans to the match.
