In March 2018, we had the privilege of flying Olympique Lyonnais to Moscow, Russia for their UEFA Europa League, Round of 16 first leg tie against CSKA Moscow.
The club chartered a 96 seat, VIP configured Boeing 767 for the trip to Moscow, equipped with lie-flat business class seats offering a 73 inch seat pitch. The team and staff had access to the WiFi-based inflight entertainment available on the aircraft for use on their on own phone, tablet or laptop.
With business class catering and a full complimentary bar on board, the team and staff took full advantage. The menus were tailored specifically by the club’s nutritionist to the players and staff requirements.
Using a VIP terminal in Moscow, the club’s movements were kept private and discreet to ensure a smooth transition from the aircraft to their awaiting coach, which was ready to take them to their hotel.

When sports clubs travel for their games away from their home, they must travel comfortably and efficiently to be physically and mentally ready for their game. ACC Aviation established a long-term relationship with a European rugby club and assists the club with ad hoc flights to and from international games.
On the 17th June 2018, Mexico were set to face Germany in their first World Cup match – but a number of football delegates and supporters were let down by another broker at the last minute.
ACC chartered a number of commercial and private aircraft (including a brand new Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner from Ethiopian Airlines and an A340 from South African Airways), to transport thousands of Reds fans to the match.
