We’re proud to announce that Charter Executive Tom Petersen was recognised at the BACA Awards 2016 on Wednesday 19th October, as a shortlisted nominee for the BACA Young Person of the Year Award.
Introduced for the first time this year, the Young Person of the Year Award is aimed at providing recognition for young aviation professionals who have made an outstanding contribution to the industry.
Key factors in selecting a short list include enthusiasm, positive attitude, initiative and a passion for aviation.
BACA Chairman, Richard Mumford, commented: “I believe this award is a great step forward in encouraging and rewarding young people in the air charter industry.
“We received some incredible nominations for the Young Person of the Year Award and the Council certainly had its work cut out in selecting a winner,” he said.
Joining ACC in 2015, Tom has become an integral part of ACC Charter’s dedicated group charter team, using his intimate knowledge of the market, resourcefulness and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding levels of service.
The nomination acknowledges his consistency in demonstrating the qualities of an excellent broker, his exceptional relationships with both clients and operators, as well as his role in helping to develop the participants in ACC’s new Graduate Development Scheme.
On receiving the nomination, Tom said, “It was completely unexpected, but I’m honoured to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award by the BACA council and members.
“I pride myself on providing each and every one of my clients with the best possible service, and relish the opportunity to mentor the next generation of aviation professionals within ACC. I’m humbled that BACA have chosen to recognise me for what has personally been a very good year thus far,” he added.Back to News
