Senior Account Manager for ACC’s dedicated executive charter division, Steve Evans, will be participating in a two-day bike ride from Farnborough airport to Paris on Friday 15th July 2016.
The 200-mile ride, part of Gloucestershire-based charity fly2help’s Air Show Challenger event, aims to raise funds for the charity’s ‘Air Smiles Days’ and ‘Aim High’ educational programme.
These initiatives offer those living in difficult situations opportunities to enjoy uplifting flying experiences and help young people explore future careers in the aviation industry.
To date, the organisation has flown over 1,700 beneficiaries on Air Smiles Days and given 130 students the opportunity to start a career in aviation.
Despite the daunting task ahead, Steve remains positive: “I am looking forward to the Air Show Challenger and getting back on the road with the team for the third year.
“I’m hoping to raise lots of money for this great charity and wish all of the other teams the very best of luck.”
Fly2help’s Events Manager, Katy Burke, comments: “I want to say thank you for all the dedication, hard work and effort from everyone involved in training and fundraising for the cycle challenge.
“Everything they are doing will make such a difference here at fly2help and we are all very excited to see them and cheer them on!”
